Where do you start if you need to import 100 pairs of shoes from Shanghai to your webshop in Madrid. Or when you need to truck a pallet of machine parts from Italy? Transporteca is the logistics world's equivalent to Expedia. We have built the worlds most comprehensive database of online cargo services, where customers quickly can search, compare, book and pay for transport of their goods. We handle all communications, so customers can focus on their business. Try it out on transporteca.com!
BACKGROUND
Transporteca is rolling out its services in a number of new countries in Europe, including Spain. In doing so we must establish our exposure to the Spanish customers. We have a significant amount of content on our Spanish website, transporteca.es, already, but much still remains to be done to improve our online rankings and visibility.
YOU
You must be fluent in Spanish in writing and fluent in English both verbally and in writing. The position is particularly interesting for someone with an interest in marketing and written communications.
We have the necessary marketing tools and the knowledge to use them as well as relevant transport industry experience, so these skills are not a prerequisite.
THE JOB
You will first be working on optimising the existing Spanish content adjusting it for clarity, keyword density, internal link building and a number of other factors that are important for being found online. Subsequently, we will ask you to either write new articles or to translate existing English content to Spanish. We may also ask you to engage directly with Spanish customers on an ad hoc basis.
Online marketing has become one of the most relevant and sought-after disciplines within Marketing. This is a real-world hands-on job, where you are able to measure the impact of your work directly by the traffic generated, the number of customer queries and - the end goal - the revenue generated from Spanish customers.
Transporteca runs a ‘remote work’ policy, where we meet in the office Thursday and Friday every week. The rest of the week you are free to choose your work space. We have the tools to stay in touch and stay productive, but we strongly believe that we all work best, when given the choice of how, where and - to some degree - when we work.
