You are undoubtedly familiar with the online portals for booking airline tickets or hotels and could not imagine any other way of booking your holiday. We have built a similar portal, but for international shipping of goods. We have the worlds most complete repository of searchable online transport services, where customers quickly can search, compare, choose and book international cargo transport. You will be the link between a subset of our customers, the shipper (based in Ireland) and the transport providers. Your task is to oversee the daily operations of this segment and ensure that the transports go as smoothly as possible. 'Communication' is the key word and whilst you cannot foresee everything, it is crucial that you at all times are thinking about 'who needs to know what and when'. You will be the go-to-person for all parties when things go wrong - and they do from time to time. Communications runs through both phone, email, chat and our proprietary IT platform.
It is important that you are fluent in Danish and English in writing and on the phone. You should be 'a communicator', meaning someone who enjoys sitting in the middle of the web ensuring that everyone have the information they need. Knowledge of transport and logistics is not a prerequisite; we will teach you what you need to know.
Transporteca runs a 'Remote Work' policy where we meet in the office every Thursday and Friday. The rest of the week you are free to work from anywhere you please.
