Your.Rentals is looking for a Business Project Manager to join our team in Malmö, Sweden. You have 3+ years operational and commercial project management experience in an online business. You may also have worked as a business analyst or consultant. You can demonstrate the delivery of strong commercial results through defining goals, analysis of data, developing project plans, managing a creative problem-solving process, designing and implementing new work processes and working through strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.

You’ll be joining our start-up team of 12 motivated people – located in Copenhagen, Malmö and Hanoi. In a flat organisation, you will report to the CEO and work closely with many team members on various projects. Some travel will be expected.

Responsibilities

As Business Project Manager, you’ll be expected to take responsibility for delivering results via the management of commercial, operational and customer facing projects. These include defining project goals, analysing data and creating reports, developing new work processes, overseeing customer facing projects, and managing our integration and release process with large sales channel partners from within the travel industry.

• Developing project plans to meet business plan goals and targets.
• Coordinating internal team members and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.
• Driving planned growth on our business KPI’s including measuring and reporting on results.
• Working together with the product and development team to ensure technical innovations and integrations are successfully rolled out on time.
• Defining project goals and measuring project performance using tools.
• Owning our connectivity projects which supply our wonderful vacation rental properties to some of the world’s leading travel websites.
• Collaborating with our marketing and communications manager to drive improvements to our user onboarding, activation and improvement programs.
• Working at a high pace with a high level of accuracy.

What you need for success

You have a relevant university degree with at least 3+ years experience in relevant roles.

Your recent work experience should display an ability to take full responsibility for projects similar to those detailed above. You should have experience in commercial, operations and/or technical sides of the business. You may also have worked as a consultant or business analyst.

Besides your professional skills, we are looking for a creative problem solver who has the ability to work autonomously in an agile organisation. You are never satisfied until the job is done and naturally challenge ideas and the work methods which you seek to improve. You put the end customer first when defining solutions.

Skills and experience

Must have:

• Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in business, marketing or another relevant discipline.
• 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience in an online business, preferably with an operational or marketing focus.
• Strong analytical, numerical and spreadsheeting skills.
• Comfortable in sourcing, manipulating, analysing and drawing conclusions from data.
• Confidence in planning and running meetings including via video conferencing.
• Experience with using collaborative project management software such as Trello, Jira, or similar.
• Experience working with off-site and external project team members.
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the travel industry.

• Experience in configuring and using business intelligence software.
• Understanding of agile software development processes.
