Vendigo Finance, backed by an international fintech VC, is building Europe’s leading Point-of-Sale consumer financing platform. We empower merchants of all sizes to maximize their revenue by offering their customers loans through our easy-to-use PoS financing solution.

We at Vendigo are looking to hire a passionate Business Analyst Trainee to join our growing team in the heart of Helsinki. Vendigo is building Europe’s leading point-of-sale consumer financing platform. We empower merchants of all sizes to maximize their revenue by offering their customers loans through our easy-to-use PoS financing solution. The internship will start in the beginning of January 2017. It is full time and lasts for 6 to 12 months (duration can be negotiated).  

The job includes  

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast growing start-up
• Preparing market research, data analyses and supportive material for all areas of our business (product development, sales, go-to-market strategy, technology)
• Developing our merchant sales and partnership strategy
• Participating in marketing and SEO strategy development
• Working on special projects based on your interests and company needs

We’re looking for someone who is  

• Fluent in Finnish and English (all other languages are bonus) 
• Eager to learn, hardworking and able to prioritize multiple tasks  
• Has a strong can-do attitude and a good sense of humor
• Organized, detail-oriented and analytical  
• Independent problem-solver
• Has excellent communication skills
• Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint, and eager to learn how to use new tools
