Design platform and company. We are looking for that first key addition to our team that will help build the company and the platform. It’s our mission to provide a platform to charterers, ship brokers and owners that is unmatched in the bulk freight industry. We want to bring new technology to help where it brings value to our partners’ business and to their clients.

As a product designer you will lead the work from understanding the user to final design.  We are small team with a product first mindset - you will be a key person in building the product and the company.

In this role you will:

• Understand and design for the target audience, social context and value proposition
• Ideate, prototype and test product design concepts
• Craft beautiful, desirable and pixel perfect interfaces
• Produce moodboards, mockups, style guides and other deliverables to visualize and communicate your ideas and solutions
• Partner with developers to ensure the quality of the visual and emotional experience
• Keep up-to-date with trends in technology, typography and design

We want you to have:

• A strong experience in digital product and service design
• A desire to reduce complexity and increase clarity
• Prototyping strongly integrated into your work
• Understanding and mastery across the design process from research and insights to design execution
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• A couple of years of professional experience in a relevant role
• It is a big plus if you are also skilled in CSS/SASS
