Let’s face it, invoicing sucks. But it doesn't have to be that way, and that’s something Billogram has already proven. We’ve transformed billing into a positive part of the customer experience, by inventing the digitally shared invoice.

It’s our magic wizards, a.k.a. the product development team that builds and maintains the entire system. From the backend of Billogram’s complex invoice processes, to the interactive and visual challenges of the frontend. In our company, change is the norm and it’s now time for us to migrate our PHP monolith into a microservice architecture. This means we’re looking to level up our backend team with an experienced software developer.

More about the job:

• You will work with a dedicated product development team in the heart of Stockholm, a cross functional group that includes developers, designers and QA.
• Deliver quality products - we do so by continuously evaluating and changing the work method to be appropriate for the task ahead.
• Further develop your skills - by frequently looking into and testing new technology, as well as having the freedom to find other occasions to learn and build experience. Both within Billogram and outside of work.
• Variation at work - with multiple features on their way, there will be flexibility to mix competences, take on new roles and work on different tasks, as well as move into other roles within Billogram.

About you:

• Experienced in software engineering
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms
• Experience from server based programming languages such as Python, PHP, Node.js, etc.
• Experience of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SNS-SQS
• Is interested in and understands microservice based architecture
• Familiar with Linux development/deployment and best practices regarding IT & information security
• Knowledgeable in database models (SQL, NoSQL)
• Knowledge of AWS or other Cloud services
