What you will be doing: 

Make the platform ready for new product launches in China, esp. in Fintech

You may be touching all of existing Tradeshift applications, services and core platform

While some work may touch on the front end, your main focus will be on the back end

You will work closely with the product-, service- and DevOps-teams in Copenhagen to strengthen the network and enable knowledge exchange between Copenhagen and the teams in China

You will be based in Copenhagen, but the job will involve frequent travel to China to work with the development teams there, especially during the first 6 months

Availability to frequent travel, especially for the first 6 months

What kind of experience we're looking for: 

• Very strong Java skills and -experience
• Experience with Cloud-based architectures, build- and deployment models
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and database architecture
• Experience designing and developing web services and infrastructure
• Understand the tradeoffs between shipping code soon and finding a perfect solution
• Experience developing web applications with large scope and complexity
• Demonstrated results in leading technical design efforts
• Integration experience
• Some full stack experience
• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing 
• Know a what's happening in the world of cutting-edge Web, SaaS/PaaS development 
• Have a masters Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or comparable
