Cloud Insurance, our lean and mean Software-as-a-Service for insurance companies, agents and brokers, is already in use in 18 countries across five continents. We are currently swamped in work, and our customer base is constantly growing. We have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline, so we need need more people to join the fun.
As our first Project Manager you will have a key role in our team. You can expect a wide array of responsibilities and challenges. In addition to plan and lead projects, you will be part of key discussions in the founding team, as well as doing typical COO activities. We are a small and fast-moving organization, hence this is a flexible position with a good chunk of autonomy and opportunity to work in the areas you thrive.

You'll:

Plan, lead and contribute to our most important external projects. Examples: Q1 has several medium and large implementation projects for UK, US and South Africa based clients.
- Plan, lead and contribute to internal projects together with our CEO. Examples: Artificial intelligence in Cloud Insurance (tech), formalizing our hiring processes (HR), improving our online presence and lead qualification processes (tech, sales)
- Planning: Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones and deliverables. Develop project plans.
- Execution: Run project meetings, communicate with all key stakeholders, follow up to ensure completion on target.
- Take part in negotiation, pre-sale planning and estimating processes
Must-haves:

Academic background in business or engineering (MSc preferred)
- Project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record in performing well in a fast paced environment
- Organizational skills to manage competing projects with tight deadlines
- A flexible approach and ability to grow together with the company
- You are a team player with ability to lead through influence
Extra credit:

Interest or experience from the insurance industry (Not a must! We have a fresh and different approach to the insurance industry.)
- Project management experience from a technology and/or startup environment
- Experience in IT project principles, methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum
- Experience and interest for communication, marketing and sales
- Experience in contract negotiation processes
- Bilingual in English and Norwegian/Swedish/Danish is a plus

This position is based in Oslo, Norway. We have modern offices on the 8th floor at Havnelageret, close to the Opera and Oslo Stock Exchange. You can expect some, but not too much, travelling in the USA and UK.
