Roots Food - Boosting your day, the natural and easy way! We create wholesome superfoods products, by finding nature’s most healthy and sustainable ingredients. We are growing and we need passionate spirits support the launching of 3 Moringa teas and 3 Moringa bars to be launched in June. Looking for you?

We are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic interns at a minimum 3 months period. If you are a great fit to our startup, there will be possibilities for paid student job when the internship has ended. 

The team behind the Roots Food is a multicultural group of ambitious people. We all have strong ties to the Philippines as well as a passion for food. We are professional in our work, but we love an informal tone and lots of laughter. We work in a shared office characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit and you will work closely with us, company owners on the daily grind of a start-up. We can offer different kinds of tasks, however, you are welcome to propose how you would like to work with.

Graphic Design

You are a creative designed with excellent IT and design skills. You can adapt the brand consistently and effectively to any target group and marketing requirement.

• Design communication materials that drive Roots Food’s vision incl. designing packaging for new products
• Clear, consistent and aligned design for commercial content
• Supporting in all communication efforts for social media, events, and clients
• Devise creative campaigns with design ideas (i.e. seasonal, trends)
• Help activate the brand with prospective clients
• Basic Web development a plus

Communications & Branding

You are capable to communicate powerfully in English and Danish and are able to simplify a complex message effectively and creatively.

• Develop communication materials that drive Roots Food’s vision Clear, consistent and aligned communications for commercial content.
• Supporting in all communication efforts for social media, events, and clients.
• Help activate the brand with prospective clients
• Support in creating the brand story and brand promise

Marketing

You have a good general understanding of marketing. You are able to communicate powerfully in English and preferably Danish and can apply known methods to identify and breach a variety of target groups.

• Research on our industry trends (Food and Beverage, Health & Fitness, Lifestyle)
• Research on target group
• Coordination of events and launch
• Building and delivering social media KPIs (blog, facebook, Instagram, twitter)
• Marketing brief to our dealers

About you

We are looking for a person who can work independently in a small team. You may also have your own entrepreneurial dream. You have good sense of creativity, and you are passionate about your work. You are flexible and can adapt quickly to any challenging situation. In the face of a challenge you always strive to find answers and provide solutions. Additionally, it is a plus if you like to follow the "Health & Wellness" industry trends and that you LOVE healthy foods.

We also expect you to have the following skills:

• Good command of both English and Danish (preferably) 
• Illustrator / Photoshop a plus
• Basic photo and videography
• Understanding of marketing
