MATE BIKE International is a A SKYROCKETING, COOL & VIBRANT start-up on a mission to start the ebike revolution and get the world to ride more bikes. We have been running the most successful crowdfunding campaign in Denmark and we are now heading into the next face of securing the success of the campaign making sure the backer and customer journey is excellent and our business continue to grow.

Are you interested in getting experience with crowdfunding, PR and digital marketing then we are looking for you! 

We are looking for a bright mind with a sharp pen and fast fingers to join our team to assist us with community management, PR and social media to increase awareness about MATE BIKE in the media and the community. 

It is also possible that the candidate may be involved with diverse ad-hoc assignments within backer/customer experience and journey.

ABOUT YOU

• You are studying or have studied within business, marketing or communication
• You understand PR and marketing and is at ease talking with journalists on phone or by email
• You know how to turn a story or situation to your advantage
• You go straight to the point and know how to 
• You are a heavy user of social media (not just Facebook) but Twitter, Instagram. Other channels are a strong +
• You have managed a Facebook page before
• You are agile to jump from one thread to another
• You are social with a friendly personality
• Determined to make a difference
• Productive and proactive when needed
• Excellent written and oral English is a must
• Social-media and web savvy - can pick up use of new tools easily and multitask online on web and mobile
• A good teammate
• A sales-focused mindset who is good at seeing opportunities
• Ability to manage your time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively managing customer requests through our Zendesk support center
• Evaluate and analyze recurring inquiries and issues to optimise responses
• Provide information about MATE products and services in a consistent and professional way

WORKING WITH MATE:

We are still looking for the perfect office space. In the meantime we usually meet in various places and work from home and meet online on Slack.

We expect you to be able to work with your own laptop and smartphone and be available outside of standard working hours (evenings, weekends).

We shall guide and train you along the way but we expect you to take the ball and run with it quickly. Expect to get busy but in a fun way!
