Fresh out of Y-Combinator in Silicon Valley, we have a strong set of investors behind us including VCs and business angels from both the US and Europe with one of the biggest seed round valuations from any Danish startup. Your key responsibilities include:

You will be part of SOUNDBOKS’ administrational department working closely together with the Financial Manager and the CEO. As a Business Controller in SOUNDBOKS, you will have a close operational collaboration with all departments helping the overall leadership group in hands-on improvements of internal controlling and reporting as well as supporting the supply chain with negotiating deals with our suppliers from both China and Europe. In other words, be ready to long nights with – some with rice wine pumping through your veins.

● Optimizing the company’s economy and finances: Both strategically and hands-on

● Reporting of the finances to the leadership group: Continue building up our monthly reporting of the finances

● Purchasing planning: From supporting negotiation of deals with our suppliers to planning payment flow in accordance with shipping- and production lead times

● Internal cost controlling: From analysis to execute budgeting and sales forecasts

● Managerial support on strategic financial decisions

The administrational team comprises all maintenance and development of the business and you will work closely together with all managers in making sure our finances run smoothly to bring products to the markets.

Ambitious Business Controller with an international mind-set and proven track record from executing economic and financial management

In order for you to be a success in this job, it is vital that you have the following skills and qualifications:

● Experience with building up financial reporting

● Experience with supply chain management

● Experience from working with cross-functional teams

● A B.Sc. or an M.Sc. in International Business or similar background

● Extensive skills in E-conomic or similar accounting tools

● Fluency in English (spoken/written)

Experience from a hardware company will be an advantage. Similarly, we prefer candidates with a strategic management background.
