RESPONSIBILITY 1 – FRONT-END DEVELOPMENT AND WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION

DESCRIPTION

In order to fulfill this responsibility, the candidate should possess strong front-end development skills as well as familiarity with WordPress and the WooCommerce E-Commerce platform. The candidate is able to independently program web solutions as well as manage Wordpress plugins .

WORK STANDARD

• Number and quality of completed web development projects per month
• Usability of developed solutions validated through UX testing

RESPONSIBILITY 2 – TEST USABILITY & EFFECTIVENESS OF DEVELOPED SOLUTIONS

DESCRIPTION

The candidate is able to independently validate the usability and effectiveness of developed solutions. The candidate is familiar with A/B testing tools as well as UX testing procedures in order to optimize key metrics such as conversion rates.

• Improvement of relevant web metrics
• Thoroughness of the test procedures

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• A completed Bachelor in Computer Science (or similar)
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Familiarity with WordPress
• Familiarity with A/B and UX testing
• Experience with web design

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A completed Master in Computer Science (or similar)
• Relevant work experience with a previous employer
• Familiarity with WooCommerce
• Strong web design skills
• Interest in Marketing
• Familiarity with Web Analytic tools such as Google Analytics or kissmetrics
