Jumpstart your career by joining our Fintech startup located at Rainmaking Loft (Holmen, Copenhagen). You will be our Swiss Army knife of a frontend developer. You will play a key role in the next phase of our rapid growth.

The Job
From brainstorming to deployment, you will be a key figure in developing new brands and optimizing our current brands in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. We are looking for self-starters who will hit the ground running on day one in close collaboration with our backend PHP developer and the rest of our small and ambitious team. You are an expert in regard to HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript - and have solid knowledge about jQuery, JSON and the API-layer. You are very experienced in working UI/UX with responsive web design. While we appreciate quick iterations, we still reward creativity and innovation and we know small details can make a big difference in performance. Besides writing clean, efficient code you are hawk-eyed about digital design and new technologies.

Each working day you will dig deep into creating superb UI/UX for our conversion-optimized websites, which magically match our users with competitive European Banks. We are open to flexible work hours but expect in average 37 hours per week.

Your Daily Grind

A few examples of tasks you responsible for

• You might start the day by having a short but effective morning meeting with the team discussing the daily grind. Apropos grind, our meetings often involve cortados in bucketloads and a homemade           croissant on the sideline.
• Create and code responsive e-mail templates, which will be used for our brands - and sent to more than 75.000 users.
• Continuously develop conversion optimized versions of existing (landing) pages and content in cooperation with our BI reports.
• Transform flat design templates from our design teams into interactive responsive websites based on the framework you find most suitable.
• Ensure high quality of user experience doing tests and improvement of forms, tools and communication.
• Duplicate, adjust and implement brands from one country to another.
• Code written material and content from our copywriters into search and conversion optimized webpages and implement via our own CMS.

About You

We have a few requirements for you:

• Minimum experience: 3 years of frontend web development (part time or full time)
• Education: You are currently studying or have finished relevant education (ITU, KEA, etc.).
• You speak: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery and have experience with API-integrations.
• You simply love to build conversion-optimized landing pages.
• You have the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
• You are comfortable working in a loosely structured organization with determined ambitions.

You get extra points if:

• You seek ways to continually improve UX/UI based on a data-driven approach.
• You are familiar with PHP coding and frontend integration.
• You might have experience with Git, AWS and PhotoShop, Open Graph.
• Are a creator or contributor to open-source software.
