If you on top of that also know how to lead a team of talented A-players, then Habitlab has a real challenge for you! Join our start-up and make yourself a vital part of our team. You might not be paid as much as you are used to, but we do promise you an exciting job and some of that sweet equity.

IDEA

Habitlab is a platform launched as an iOS app in March 2016, but it’s also a vision to build a fun, simple and very effective tool that can help people make changes by building good habits.

Early April we were accepted into the Thinkubator accelerator, and we are now making our way to a product-market fit, finding a sustainable business model and later to scaling the platform. Our product roadmap is ambitious and with plenty of exciting projects to be tackled.

TEAM

We are a cross-functional team of seven, with years of experience from management consulting, advertising, concept development, design and engineering. Our way of working is no-bullshit agile, with one senior and three junior developers. We expect to staff up with more senior developers in the upcoming months. You’ll be a major part of these efforts.

YOU

Apart from the upfront requirements of being an experienced leader and hands-on developer we expect you to have a proven record of:

  • Multiple successful software product deliveries, in web or mobile technologies
  • Ability to navigate and implement multiple levels and languages of a technical stack with ease
  • Ability to optimize code bases in these areas on the following directions: value, usability, aspect, measurement, scale, maintenance
  • Ability to design and implement software systems and their processes and infrastructure, e.g., review, versioning, continuous delivery, continuous integration, tools and infrastructure
  • Technical ability to lead the implementation of products meeting various software properties (reliability, availability, recovery, etc.) as necessary
  • Ability to rightfully assign people, implement processes and choose technologies for the right areas and products
  • Ability to manage and lead people, and build an engineering culture

On top of this, we expect you to hold an M.Sc. or B.Sc. with specialization in computer science, and be familiar with software engineering, software design, software architecture, algorithms and data structures, machine learning, and distributed systems. Knowledge of human-computer interaction or hardware is a plus.

Sounds good? Great, then please drop us an email with your CV and three lines describing why you should lead our technical team. If you refer our new CTO, we’ll make sure to send you a fine bottle of Snaps. We look forward to hearing from you!
