As Account Manager for Strategic Partnerships Intern, you will be assisting in the hotel integration flow;
Ensuring reliable and fast integration of hotels in the Nustay backend to be effectively presented on the website. You will also be working with an internal and external freelancer team, consisting of copywriters, graphic designers and translators. At the same time, you will also support Nustay in managing and maintaining its existing relationships with hotel partners.
This role requires an individual with a strong background, highly motivated and preferably hotel industry knowledge, accompanied with the ability to immerse himself/herself into the dynamics of a successful company.
You will be working from our new office at Holmen, Copenhagen.
PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS
- Interface between clients (hotels) and development team to continuously improve the integration flow. You will be dealing with an international and geographically separated team of copywriters, graphical designers and IT developers as well as top-level hotel managers of international chains and associations.
- Strong operational knowledge, logical thinking and initiative needed to identify and coordinate necessary improvements in the backend, hotel signup page and nustay frontend.
- Identify software changes by independent testing and collecting client feedback. Structure and visualize change requests in a concise and comprehensive way.
- Monitor research and report findings on market developments in the travel industry.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- You will be assisting in contact to Nustay's hotel partners, members of international luxury hotel groups and individual boutique hotels. You will need to continuously communicate via phone and email with different top-level mangers of our partner hotels all around the world.
- The main task is the” lead-conversion” to make sure that signed up members are successfully integrated on the platform. This requires personal interaction with hotels to ensure the best possible hotel presentation.
- Educate hotels about the Nustay concept, the integration flow, important activities at Nustay. The challenge is to effectively communicate a yet unknown concept to our clients. This may include distant and on-site training sessions with hotel managers, which need to be adapted to the individual needs.
- This task requires strong communicational skills to ensure effective and friendly communication with our clients to build long-lasting relationships. Active listening is needed to Identify special needs and hidden feedback of each client.
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
- Monitor integration progress and continuously follow up pending tasks. This task requires strong organizational skills and a good structural approach. It includes all necessary steps that are needed until a hotel can be presented online, similar to regular product management. This step includes coordination of tasks among different support functions, such as copywriters and graphical designers.
- Continuously improve hotel integration process by introducing lean structures and further automation. Strong creative skills in operations management and process optimization required.
- Maintain and extend hotel database with new hotels and analysis features.
- Visualize operations processes in flow charts and manuals targeted to clients.

- Relevant business development, account management, business travel experience

PRACTICALITIES
- Must be able to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Masters program at an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior standing
- Must be able to work full-time for a period of at least three months
- Non-paid, but with the opportunity to start a part-time paid job in nustay.com when internship is over.
- You will receive recommendation and internship papers from Nustay upon termination.
- You will be working from our office at Holmen, Copenhagen, and will be reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships
