Labster is a next-generation education company who provides top universities and their leading faculties with virtual scientifically advanced laboratories. Labster is a company dedicated to developing fully interactive lab simulations based on mathematical algorithms that support open-ended investigations and combining these with gamification elements such as an immersive 3D universe, story-telling and a scoring system which stimulates students natural curiosity and highlights the connection between science and the real-world. A recent study published in Nature Biotechnology showed a 76% increase in learning outcomes when using Labster compared to normal teaching (Bonde et al. 2014).

Director of Operations. Your mission in Labster would be: 

Ensure that all operations including finance, budgeting, legal, administration etc. are effective, predictable and correct

The outcomes excpected of you:

Manage finances and budgeting to ensure a healthy and predictable financial situation at least 6-12 months in the future. Ensure optimal relationships and financial outcomes with banks, loan-givers and financial part of our grants Conduct and oversee everything in relation to contract negotiation, legal (e.g. terms of use, standard contracts etc). Ensure Labster runs smoothly and with the lowest possible administrative overhead.

• Overseeing operations, including finances (cash flow etc), contracts etc.
• Negotiating with partners, formalizing agreements, and working with lawyers (e.g. partnership agreement, update user terms etc.)
• Interacting and negotiating deals with Banks (e.g. loans, terms etc.) and loan-givers Optimize standard legal documents.
• Optimize administrative processes
