Flowplan is offering an IoT solution for remote water management, specifically for water consuming HoReCa machinery, e.g. coffee machines, dishwashers and ice machines. The solution consists of both hardware and software and together offers the most advanced IoT solution available on the market. More or less all these machines are equipped with a water filter that filter out calcium and magnesium, to avoid scale buildup. They have to be changed dependent on water hardness and filter type. Currently service companies change them based on rough estimates or even guesses - leading to huge filter waste, unnecessary driving and often scale buildup in the expensive machines. By monitoring all consumption, transmitting it wirelessly and analyzing data, we predict exactly when the filters are due, and let the service companies know. This way we ensure all filters are changed on time, not too soon or too late. Besides optimizing water filters, we are using machine earning and AI to analyze consumption data and gain valuable insights for the users to act upon. Our mission is to change the water filter market. Reduce the enormous filter (and money) waste, and ensure no machines break down due to scale buildup. We are a young team with experience from the industry, where the problem has been a long-standing problem.

Kubell Audio is a DTU based Audio startup, creating a modular, easy to use audio system empowering hobbyist musicians & upcoming artists. Through the last 10 years, the internet has enabled a revolution in the music industry, making it much easier for independent musicians to create and share their music on social platforms like soundcloud. This is however a completely different story when it comes to the artist's ability to perform live, and share their music with people in the real world. Here, the only available Live audio equipment is wired, complicated and extremely time consuming to use and set up - which works directly against the artists wishes of spontaneous creativity and independence of the musical industry. We wanted to change this, and create an audio product that enabled this spontaneous freedom for live audio. We therefore created and patented an intelligent (patent pending), completely wireless audio system - where powerful speakers add on modules (such as microphones and guitar modules) are easily snapped together, and automatically set up by the system in seconds - enabling everyone to easily share their music and interact with fans through their beloved medium of music. WAIR is on a mission to give discarded textiles a new life through the power of upcycling. In our first product, we transform ''unperfect'' jeans and workwear into modern and sustainable sneakers. SimplerQMS is a software startup that helps life science companies work efficiently with their quality documentation. We enable companies that produce medical devices, health app’s and pharmaceuticals to digitize their documentation processes and spend less time on manual work. Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible. At Eduflow, we're building a platform where teachers can create and run courses with students. We believe that digital tools for learning need to be more than just a playlist of videos. We're building learning activities that teachers can use to engage students and make them active participants in their own learning process. We used to go by the name Peergrade, but in September we launched Eduflow and have decided to give it all we got. We have more than 4 years of experience working in EdTech, we've been part of the Y Combinator accelerator program and we're backed by some of the the best investors in the nordics.
