We are an Aarhus based start-up located at "The Kitchen" - an entrepreneurial environment.

The Nanny Agency is a Copenhagen-based agency specialising in reliable, educational and creative high quality childcare. We understand that busy parents may need a helping hand once in a while and our goal is to match families with the right nanny to suit their specific needs. From nursery and school pick-ups to evening and weekend babysitting – we got you covered. With a profound love of children and over a decade of experience working in childcare in California, London and Copenhagen, this is a project that is very closed to my heart.

Squire

Squire is currently developing a marketplace that facilitates the connection between freelancers and customers. For the freelancers, we provide them with a platform where they can work effortlessly choosing their own rates and schedule. No more stressful job search! They can become a Squire freelancer and start earning with a mere few clicks. For the customers, Squire provides a consolidated marketplace with a variety of services to choose from. They no longer have to worry about service quality due to our rating algorithm and never again do they have to worry about traditionally unresponsive service providers as we ensure a reply or an equally qualified alternative. Some of the founders have worked as freelancers on competing job platforms, and know the needs and shortfalls different freelancers experience when working. We have taken this feedback and added features that counter the negative experiences and allow for a satisfactory experience when working on Squire. In the case of the customers on the platform, our platform provides an easy step by step process, allowing customers to find freelancers much faster than using traditional methods. We have experienced that many people around us have lost their jobs. We want to build a solution to this, providing people who have lost their income a means to earn a living. Efficient access to services is something we believe the danish economy lacks, by creating new demand and supply for service jobs, we hope to stimulate the economy by creating a platform that encourages spending and income generation during a time of suppressed economic growth.

SpeakerBee

SpeakerBee er en fri og demokratisk video platform, hvor alle med noget på hjerte kan dele deres viden. Vidensdelingen sker altid via live-streaming, men vil efterfølgende være tilgængelig på websitet. Når vi altid sender live er det med et håb at indlæggene fremstår så transparente og “uredigerede” som muligt. Samtidig giver det seerne mulighed for at interagere med speakerne direkte gennem chat, quizzer, afsteminger, webcam m.m. SpeakerBee er uafhængig af politiske- og andre særinteresser, og sålænge, der er interesse for et indlæg, det er indenfor lovens rammer og det overholder nogle simple kvalitetskrav, er emnet frit. Udover indlæg fra speakere producerer vi selv - eller i samarbejde med partnere - programmer i lidt større formater som kan være samtaler, debatter, temaserier eller anden vidensdeling. Der er også kommercielle indslag - dog altid efter samme principper - at det skal være live og transparent. Vi tror på at fremtidens kommunikation mellem virksomhed og potentielle kunder vil være en ærlig præsentation af virksomheden og dens kultur og værdier samt at deres produkt eller service gør en forskel for brugerne. Guldsmeden hotels

Guldsmeden Hotels is a sustainable hotel chain with 13 locations all around the world. We have always had a preference for local and sustainable products – especially those that we eat and drink. Overall, sustainability for us is the fundamental element of our entire operation, and no decision is made, a production started, or a new process was introduced without the sustainability angle having defined it first. It is our first priority that sets all the goals. We are committed to giving our guests a wonderful stay with as little negative environmental impact as possible while contributing to the common pool of knowledge regarding sustainable practices within daily operations. As a company founded in an entrepreneurial spirit, we are in constant development – but as we have just opened a new hotel, Bryggen Guldsmeden, we are starting over and with the spirit of a start-up, we are looking to get a marketing team together to help not only promoting the newly started Bryggen, but also the rest of our lovely hotels.

Our mission is to allow small and medium-sized business owners to save time and focus on what is truly important: growing their business. Instead of spending their time on day-to-day administration and management work. We do this through digital transformation and process automation. A lot of businesses have amazing potential that is not being utilized because day-to-day operations are taking up most of the time that otherwise could’ve been invested in developing new business ideas and income opportunities. In a large part, the reason for this rising potential is the technological advancement we have seen over the past few years. Although it is creating opportunities, a lot of companies have a hard time adapting their operational and administrative processes to this new way of doing business. As mentioned our whole reason for existence is to help companies go through digital transformation, to set themselves free of their old inefficient processes. We use a combination of different frameworks from the fields of Business Process Management and Software Development to tailor digital processes 100% to our client´s workflows, management and operations. The nature of our work can described as two integrated phases that each brings a unique value to our client. The first phase is all about in-depth analysis of current processes, painpoints, operation dynamics and redesign of these from a digital perspective adding the technological aspects. The second phase is related to developing the actual automation software, scripts, integrations and business logic using the technologies. There is a catch though: in the second phase, the first phase is actually repeated – the closer we work with the technical development the more opportunities arise along the way, which usually allows us to optimize the processes even more than expected. How and why did it start? “The only thing more important than your time is what you spend it on.” I realized this when I was 16, working a boring data entry job. At that time, I had already moved out and really had to learn how to prioritize my time. My main goal and dream was to become a professional basketball player and this repetitive, boring job was just taking away my valuable time, which I could otherwise be spending at the gym. For the first time in my life, I had too many goals but too little time. So I decided to change that. What started as a few formulas and scripts to automate my data entry, quickly turned into an app, which turned into 5 apps, and by the time I was 18 turned into my own company. I realized how small and medium-sized business owners face the same issue I was facing – too many goals, but too little time. And the solution: process automation and digital transformation. 2 years later and counting, I am running a company of process specialists, analysts, consultants, developers, and technical writers to help companies and business owners create more time for what is truly important. The journey has been awesome, but to be honest it is not all about the success. Just like I see companies as a bunch of processes, I also see life as a process – a learning process! Most importantly, this journey has brought me amazing knowledge and experience, which I would never give up for anything, and it shaped into the fearless person I am today. For me, life is about challenging yourself and learning from it – throw yourself into the deep end yet learn to survive! The BikeBuddies

The BikeBuddies upcycles discarded bikes so citizens and companies easily can get their hands on a fully functioning recycled second-hand bike. A concept that benefits people's health, the mobility in society, the economy and our Planet. In Denmark, more than 300.000 bikes are produced every year and more than 15 % of those end up being discarded. Our mission is to save discarded bikes from being remelted by refurbishing them to give them new lives. Our vision is to revolutionize the way bikes are recycled in Denmark and that way inspire other businesses to pursue a circular approach in their business models. With so many bikes and resources going to waste every year, the idea behind The BikeBuddies was a call to action of creating a business based on a circular economy to help reduce waste in Denmark. By being a front-runner in the era of the circular economy, we can hopefully inspire many more people, entrepreneurs, and businesses to think circularity and sustainability into their operations and everyday life.

VAEKST is a Nordic consultancy based in Copenhagen, focusing our Nordic approach on sustainable business relations and the quality of work, with a mindset of delivering quality over quantity.  The Nordic region is our home ground. Care2People Associassion

Care 2 People is a non-profit NGO that provides self-help assistance, both in Denmark and around the world, our main focus areas are to fight desertification and improve the world's climate change. Care2People works with all aspects of the humanitarian field and likes to work as an umbrella organization. We do advise and conduct not only anti-radicalization courses but also competency related job adaptation, motivate and carry out repatriation tasks, including preparation and participation in clarification processes, planning integration in the home country, including business plan/return home and family plan, etc. Care2People is happy to hold courses and help launch new businesses.
