Jun Grooming is a Copenhagen based startup manufacturing handmade, premium men's cosmetics products. The carefully curated beard oils and balms are made only from EU sourced certified organic ingredients, and contain no unnatural chemicals and preservatives. The founder, Kendzsi Tanaka used his personal experience and research in natural skincare to develop these products, after living all his life with a condition of sensitive, dry and irritable skin. After successfully building the initial inventory, developing and launching the webshop and relevant social media profiles, the company has run into a problem of reaching and growing its first customer base. The sales launch in January showed good results with online sales for private costumers, but the first excitement slowly died down. Currently, Jun Grooming is looking for partnerships, advice, and funding for developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, aiming for the fundamental product flow. The Jun Grooming Instagram page currently has 1k+ followers after only a single year of running, which is very competent in its sector. BIRanalyzers mission is to democratise quality control in the food processing industry. Our first focus is the craft beer industry. Regardless that the number of craft breweries has been radically increasing during the last few years, today over 80% of them do not have access to the right analytical equipment. By the end of 2019 we conducted a thorough design research and interviews with over 20 ambitious craft brewers from Denmark, Greece and Argentina. Based on all that gathered data, we have been designing and developing our first analytical instrument using novel sensor technologies and Industrial IoT. In brief, our device can be attached directly to the brewers tanks and sends real-time fermentation data to our cloud. Then, the brewer is able to follow the brewing process remotely from our app. Our solution opens up the “black box” of fermentation, allowing full control of the brewing process. We are about to initiate product trials with 5 Danish microbreweries and we plan to launch by the end of this year.
