Impact Roasters is a social coffee enterprise supporting coffee farmers and local communities in Ethiopia through its trade model called Impact Trade.    We bring coffee beans directly from small-scale farmers without middlemen from the highlands of Ethiopia, which we roast locally at our roastery in Copenhagen.    At the moment, we run different Impact projects in Ethiopia bringing significant changes to the local coffee farming communities.   Nidzara Fazlic and Daniel Halalla (Ethiopian)  started the company to bring the Ethiopian coffee culture to Scandinavia: roasting the coffee on the spot, enjoying coffee as a social drink and appreciating the work of the coffee growers who are part of the company. At Impact Roasters, we strive to share our love for coffee and tell the world about the rich Ethiopian coffee culture. We also believe that we can create long-term impact by bringing the farmers directly to the roasters. We want our partners to know where their coffee came from, when it was picked and who are the people behind the process from the beginning to the very end.

IPM was founded in 2014 as a spin-off company of the DTU, with the aim of inventing and commercialising automatic wireless real-time ultrasensitive systems for long term ‘in the field’ monitoring of pollutants in water sources and distribution networks. The systems will find application in water utility companies for their management and stewardship of groundwater resources, for both avoiding the entry of contaminated water into distribution systems.
