Encope is an assistive technology in an app with the aim to support the coping skills of an epileptic after a rehabilitation course at the Epilepsy Hospital, Filadelifa. Currently, the patients at Filadelfia are experiencing challenges regarding the use of the learned strategies and tools after the rehabilitation course, returning to their everyday environment. Encope helps to structure and visualize the individuals energy level, fatigue and daily activities. The user has the responsibility to reflect on his own condition, to avoid being overstimulated.

Kubell Audio is a DTU based Audio startup, creating a modular, easy to use audio system empowering hobbyist musicians & upcoming artists. Through the last 10 years, the internet has enabled a revolution in the music industry, making it much easier for independent musicians to create and share their music on social platforms like soundcloud. This is however a completely different story when it comes to the artist's ability to perform live, and share their music with people in the real world. Here, the only available Live audio equipment is wired, complicated and extremely time consuming to use and set up - which works directly against the artists wishes of spontaneous creativity and independence of the musical industry. We wanted to change this, and create an audio product that enabled this spontaneous freedom for live audio. We therefore created and patented an intelligent (patent pending), completely wireless audio system - where powerful speakers add on modules (such as microphones and guitar modules) are easily snapped together, and automatically set up by the system in seconds - enabling everyone to easily share their music and interact with fans through their beloved medium of music. Beyond our initial Kickstarter launch, we are looking to revolutionize the Live audio industry globally, by empowering musicians, and enabling them to become, and stay independent.

Our startup helps handicapped citizens manage their municipality helpers. There's a lot of confusion and stress related to keeping track of which helpers are doing what, sending their time sheets to the municipality and other similar issues like "tabt arbejdesfortjeneste". All of it usually requires a lot of different, separate calendars, and handitime is a shared calendar between citizens, parents and helpers, where the helpers themselves can put in the hours they use, and then the citizen and/or their parents just have to approve it, export to excel, and send it to their municipality.

Our goal is to take the consumption of fresh produce to a even higher level, by raising the quality Barr. At the same time we save the environment from a huge carbon emission, by bringing fresh produce "from the land to the table", without any detour from retail stocks, ripening rooms or other cooling facilities. We carefully select all our suppliers and only maintain a dialog if the production is sustainable or organic. We are aiming at constantly adding new competences to our staff, in order to maintain a leading position in the industry. The human concern and care towards the environment also include our stakeholders such as our staff, suppliers and partners. 1: Short description ARETE is developing a matchmaking platform for CS:GO to help hardcore gamers become better players with a role-based rating- and division-system. 2: The What: What are we solving We severely lack player agency in Counter-Strike. For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts. I have dedicated years of my life into defining the roles and coming up with a system that will make solo matchmaking feel like team practice, and I have already found some amazing people to help me make it happen - will you join us in our journey to making matchmaking better?
