Currently moisture checks are done manually and sporadically and results in damaged timber and exspensive repairs. There is no solution for predictive maintenance for timber components in buildings. Moisture related damages amounts to more than 2 billion every year. With our IoT sensor you can monitor your timber component and get an alarm to avoid damages. Customer segments consist of all actors in construction; tree producer, building developer and building owner. Targetting tree producer with a bottom up approach to reach the others as well. 10 customer deals made, many more in pipeline.

We are a Copenhagen based design studio working at the intersection of design, art, and technology. We create our own collections under Hamide brand,  offer design consultancy service, and create spin-off projects. Our design process values empathic creativity, in other words, we love walking in others’ shoes with a creative mind.  We are currently working on one of our spin-off projects, Bookworm, aiming to create a democratic digital library experience. We are hoping to expand our team. We are two sisters, who took the tragic course of events in our lives to create something beautiful and empowering. We started our studio to honor our mother Hamide, who was a designer but never had the recognition she deserved, and passed away after a long battle with an atypical Parkinson's disease. So, Hamide Design Studio, is a serious matter for us, it is very personal yet we are very professional.  We are ambitious,  hardworking, and persistent. We love design profession for its power to change the world for the better. We have both intense days at work filled with creativity or just boring office work, and also light days as well. We know when to take a break and celebrate. Luckily our studio is located right next to Sønder Boulevard. We have some studio values and rules.
