Maneno was founded in 2015 and here 5 years later we have established ourselves as the key player for children’s book streaming services in Denmark. The company was founded in response to the increasing rate of reluctant readers in Denmark and the decline in literacy skills worldwide. The two founders themselves being the fathers of children and seeing at first-hand how children are more consumed with YouTube and video games, they decided to create a reading app that puts recognition and motivation as key components in building reading skills to children.
