Qub is a Copenhagen based startup and we run a platform that connects households to helpers. We aim to give our users a hassle-free everyday by providing peer-to-peer matchmaking.We just finished our soft launch and by getting 1000 users in this period we reached a great milestone. Almost 3 million piglets are stillborn due to birth complications every year in Denmark. This is not solely a financial burden for each pig producer, but also an animal welfare and ethical problem.PorcoVision want to change this by developing an intelligent camera system which can detect and notify the farmers when complications occur. This enables the farmer to provide the needed help in time to safe the piglets.The system make use of camera vision and artificial intelligence for detection.
