Maneno

Maneno is a reading app that makes it fun to read and learn to read. Maneno was founded in 2015 and here 5 years later we have established ourselves as the key player for children’s book streaming services in Denmark. The company was founded in response to the increasing rate of reluctant readers in Denmark and the decline in literacy skills worldwide. The two founders themselves being the fathers of children and seeing at first-hand how children are more consumed with YouTube and video games, they decided to create a reading app that puts recognition and motivation as key components in building reading skills to children. Our team has grown to 7 employees handling anything from app development to content acquisition and user retention.

GrowthBond

GrowthBond is a Danish fintech startup funded by the UN that provides SME finance for online marketing assisted by certified experts. It is estimated that a staggering 450 million companies worldwide are unable to get a loan from the traditional banking system because they operate solely in cash, cannot prove their creditworthiness, do not have collateral, or are unable to demonstrate a market opportunity. It is extremely hard for traditional banks to serve these small businesses when it is nearly impossible to evaluate the risk/opportunity and offer them small loans with low margins, compared to larger loans for big companies with high margins and less risk. That’s why we built GrowthBond, a platform designed to automate the credit assessment process for small business owners, which cuts waiting times by weeks, reduces loan operating costs, slashes minimum loans from thousands to hundreds of dollars, and enables real-time tracking of the deployment and financial return of the funds.

byACRE was founded in Copenhagen, the heart of Scandinavian’s design hub, with a mission to break down the stigma related to reduced mobility and to help those it serves maintain an active lifestyle without compromise. We design mobility aids for a person, not a patient. Mobility is one of the core values in modern life. It’s also a top challenge facing older adults; and adults with disabilities that have impacted their mobility and lifestyle. The current market for assistive walking devices has failed to adequately support this community, with ageist messages and outdated models that denote feelings of dependence and fragility – an inaccurate representation of today’s thriving older adult community. Since 2017, our mindful designs have won some of the world’s most prestigious awards in design and innovation, including the 2019 RedDot Design Award, the 2017 IF Design Award and the Danish Design Award. “by ACRE” is our quality seal. It’s rooted in the words ‘Active’ and ‘Re-Habitare’ – the Latin word for Back to Life.

Inspicasa

The digital service Inspicasa offers several enhancements to the clarification process all property buyers are going through: Firstly: Inspicasa decodes the buyer’s emotional profile and merges the emo-profile with the factual wishes into a complete search profile. The algorithms search all real estate agents sites for properties that match the profile and present the choices to the buyer. Secondly, Inspicasa presents different national or geotagged shops and service-suppliers, offering relevant products to the property buyer. For example; kitchens, furniture, internet, security systems, DIY, garden centers, supermarkets, etc. A ''Yes'' to a property equals ''Yes'' to new suppliers. The business model consists of two cash flow streams: Lead generation to suppliers with individualized focus and vouchers to support retailers and campaigns. 40% of the population that is looking for houses, flats, summerhouses, etc is discontented with the present solutions to browse the real estate market. At the same time, ⅔ of the population looking for a new property is not able to find the matching property. Why? Because the fundamental emo-parameters that control the decision-making is not addressed presently by real estate agents or other market-actors neither digitally nor through classic communication. According to Professor Richard Thaler, Noble Prize winner in Economy in 2017, and Daniel Kahneman and Vernon Smith, Noble Prize winner in Economy in 2002, is every decision based on the emotional perception of your "reality landscape". Regardless of what kind of decision we are talking about. Market research shows that 98% of real estate buyers agree. This opportunity is why we created Inspicasa. Based on algorithms and machine learning the solution optimizes and in a few seconds narrows the search to a few dream homes, much faster than scrolling through hundreds of presentations. Leads and voucher messages are sent to participating suppliers and shops instantly enabling them to act. But what if the decision process has to include 3-4-5 persons? Answer: Inspicasa presents an option, where the buyer merges her or his emotional preferences with for example family members and creates a group profile. The property search presents actual suggestions from top to low match. The idea was created as a result of several discussions about the real estate market, decision-making process, emotional preference, and frustration about the (lack of) exciting services. Jess and Grane have been involved in business development, innovation, and start-ups in many different set-ups. We have a passion for developing, disrupting, and creating concepts, but despite that, it is the first time we have created a project together after knowing each other for more than 10 years. Birgitte was a natural part of the project from day one, Birgitte and Jess are married and Birgitte’s competence as an auth. psychologist was extremely important for the emotional understanding and creating a fundamental part of the solution.

Lightbooth was established in 2017 with the ambition to become a leading developer of user activation products. Lightbooth is like any other photobooth, except it doesn’t take up any space and it looks great! It has a habit of attracting attention with a pulsating beauty dish light, which creates astonishing photos. It’s super fast and free for anyone to use!

Leap

We are still a relatively new and small startup but with great ambitions and a proven track record from companies such as Falcon.io, Unity, E-conomic and more. Our current product is a modern competitor analysis tool but we are moving into the content/marketing space within the next few months. We are seeing a huge hole in the market for content creators in small companies when it comes to marketing platforms and we want to be the ones catering to that need. We already have a lot of traction and have onboarded our first customers. Things are moving fast but we manage to have fun along the way. Traday

Traday has created a secure SaaS solution that solves scam/fraud in the peer to peer trading market, we created Traday to stop all scams in the market, so if Person A is selling an iPhone to Person B, both parties are gonna get the goods. We have made a fully automatic system that solves this issue, while we are in close dialog with our customers for future optimizations. What do Traday include? - NemID verification. - NemKonto payment. - Integrated delivery system. - Fully anonymous payments. - Freight insurance. - No personal data exchange between users. - Traday has a close cooperation with the Danish police section LCIK. - Buyer/Seller Security. - Inbuilt Track & Trace on all orders. We have been analyzing the Danish market peer to peer market, and by statistics, we can see that digital scam/fraud is increasing every day, this affects a large number of Danish citizens, this is what we are targeting to stop once for all. To solve this problem we made the mobile app -> Traday which we used about one year both day and nights to develop, our team of 2 spirits has done everything we can to develop the most secure and easy to use product for our customers, even emptied our bank accounts. We have integrated a lot of modules and API's to make this service work the way we want, and also got a Payment Service Provider license from Finanstilsynet. Everything started back when the CEO of Traday - Sebastian Andersen, in 2017 was scammed in his previous business, he was buying a stock of broken iPhones to repair but never received the iPhones and lost money to these scammers. He then started developing the strategy for how he could make this product that could eliminate fraud online, in 2019 he stumbled upon the now CTO of Traday - Lasse Jørgensen, and they started designing and developing Traday. Traday launched April 2th. 2020.

Who are we? We’re called Idag and we’re a Copenhagen based and newly founded company with a unique approach to last-mile-delivery of groceries and other products. Our platform enables stores to engage customers in the delivery of shelf products to other local customers. This basically means that we don’t rely on trucks and warehouses but use existing local resources. Our approach is both a fast, cheap, and green alternative to other last-mile delivery services. As the first tech company with this focus, our ambition is to be an international service within delivery services. And even though we just started we already have a lot of goals! Our first goal is to create a robust and scalable platform that will enable retailers a simple access to our peer to peer delivery model through our APIs.

Dizziguide Our solution, DizziGuide provides symptom clusters related to dizziness and instability problems. The symptom clusters intend to be recommendations for potential diagnoses. It is most effective to confirm or exclude these diagnoses first. A validated algorithm looks at patient information from an online questionnaire. That results in the symptom clusters and in recommendations for the specialization that might be best suited to see the patient at first.

Motes

What is Motes? Motes is a platform that connects tourist organizations and experience providers with the modern traveler through location-based storytelling. What is the problem? Research shows that the modern travelers no longer identify as tourists; instead, they seek new experiences that are local, authentic, and personalized to meet their specific interests. This creates a problem for organizations that want to target, attract, and retain the modern traveler - they need to meet the new demands and offer experiences that resonate with their audience. What is the solution? For the modern traveler, we offer a web app that enables them to explore cities on their own terms through a gamified experience. On their journey, they ‘unlock’ the secrets, stories, and hidden gems of their destination. These unlockable points are conceptualized as ‘Motes’ and in order to open them, the user has to be physically present (the web app tracks location), creating an immersive and engaging experience for our users. For organizations, we offer a self-service tool, called Motes Pro, which allows them to create digital experiences through an easy-to-use interface where they can add Motes, draw routes, and create narratives using video, sound, text, images, and very soon 3D sound. Motes Pro also offers statistics on how tourists move around in the city and what content that performs well, thus enabling organizations to continuously improve their offerings.
