LEO Innovation Lab

LEO Innovation Lab is an independent unit, established by LEO Pharma. We don’t develop medical treatments – instead, we look at all the aspects of everyday life that can affect a person who has a skin condition. The solutions are focused primarily on e-Health and add-on devices.LEO Innovation Lab has been established as a separate entity to create a smaller, more agile organization, where innovation can thrive and solutions be brought to market and tested faster.

WHAT

WHAT is a social platform that enables you to make better decisions. Ask anonymous questions to get quick feedback from users on the platform. The platform is easy and fun to use. Invite friends to participate or follow them to see what they answer. Ask questions to specific gender- or age groups. Want to know the best bar nearby? Ask the men in the vicinity, which one they prefer. WHAT is free to use, so try it out and tell us what you think, or write us to say hello.

Coinify

Coinify is an established global virtual currency platform offering solutions across Europe, and Asia predominantly. We have over four years of transaction history, offering compliant, fast and secure transaction services. Coinify’s services include: individual currency trading, corporate brokerage, payment processing services, and enterprise solutions via the Coinify API.

Reshopper

Reshopper was launched in 2012 by a group of Danish fathers and is your local marketplace for all things kids - changing the way people buy and sell used items for children. Reshopper believes in safer, easier and more enjoyable trading between parents from the same neighborhood. We have more than 500.000 downloads and have been awarded “Denmark’s Best Children’s App” in 2017 and Apple recently selected us as the Editor’s Choice in the App Store.

Thorning Astrup / aarhus

Based on our first collection, we launched our new styles of jewellery, Spring 2016, a bit more daring, but still celebrating simple.In our first line of jewellery, we sought to break with the usual notion of how jewellery should look like. We have chosen a material that is raw and industrial as a starting point, but through processing becomes smooth and exclusive. The style is Nordic, raw and minimalist. We have worked with simple geometric shapes and the cube has been the heart of our shape. Maja Thorning Kristensen holds a masters degree in architecture from Aarhus School of Architecture, 2013 and Niels Astrup holds a masters in Digital Design from Aarhus University, 2012. We started Thorning Astrup / aarhus in 2014. Our shared pool of genes create a love to different materials and the challenge to design and combine these in minimalist, unexpected compositions.Our mantra is always to design using only one defining detail in a specific product with a constructivist, modernist approach.

MONEYBANKER™

MONEYBANKER™ is a service that helps ordinary people to get on overview of their online financing options. We have developed an easy to use search engine, which enables users to be matched with potential financing companies based on their credit need as well as their age. Our goal is to expand our service to several new countries in the next couple of years.At our current stage we are hiring people to mange our service for Denmark, Norway, Sweden and France.

Bikematch.dk is a platform where you can get the overview and find offers on bikes from your local bikeshop.On the other side we have made a dedicated online system called Bikedata.dk for bike dealers, that enables them to manage and update all of their online platforms from one place. The system features a build in database with bikes which can be integrated with their current webpage, facebook and other marketing platforms.Our vision is to be The best online system for bike dealers globally.

Solgaard Design is a brand dedicated to making products that fit people's lives. Starting with Lifepack, our first challenge is recreating the mobile office. We have created a backpack which is solar powered battery pack so you always have power for your phone, an integrated lock so your work items are safe, and a lifezone so your socks and paperwork don't get mixed up. We've raised over a million USD via crowdfunding. We're excited about what the future holds. English speaking.

Bookmundi ApS

Bookmundi.com is a global travel booking portal displaying tours and adventures by local partners around the world. We launched in June 2015 and already offer +2000 tours and travel packages world wide. We've just hooked up with the world's largest travel companies Gadventures and Intrepid Travel and will shortly be featuring all of their tours as well. Bookmundi differentiates itself by: - User friendly design- Real-time chat and message capability, including the ability for our partners to provide a customised offer via the chat to customers. - Auctioning function allowing customers to get 5 travel offers from qualified travel companies within in average 3-4 offers, currently active for treks in Nepal and safaris in Tanzania. More destinations to join this programme shortly. We're not in business to replicate existing travel booking portals but in business to stir the pot.

Peblish

A new platform that crowdfunds articles.  Say a journalist conceives of a great idea for an article and publishes the idea on www.Peblish.dk. Now all our readers can see the idea and they can support it with a small payment. Once the financial goal has been achieved, the journalist writes the article and it will be sent to everyone who has supported it. In essence, the readers pre-buy an article. If an idea has not attained its goal, all the readers who supported it will get their money back. The word Peblish is a contraction of people and publish. Peblish aims to democratize journalism by giving everyone a voice in today's media world thereby challenging the established ways of doing journalism. We want to return to the essence of journalism and make room for quality articles where thorough investigation matters. Peblish, therefore, has a very idealistic foundation as Denmark's democratic media.   At Peblish, we acknowledge the importance of the media as the Fourth Estate. We see investigative journalism as an essential part of a healthy democracy and we support it directly by committing part of our profits to promotion and funding. We want important articles to reach a broader segment of society and not only a small group of subscribers.
