MIA Innovation DK Non-Governmental Organisation is a voluntary citizen association established by students in Denmark, focusing on international development cooperation and raising awareness of human rights, sustainable development goals, environmental issues and clean energy, especially solar lease - providing affordable green energy microfinancing to NGOs in developing countries. Our goal is to contribute to the society with innovative sustainable solutions to contemporary issues.

Above Borders. We are on a mission to open the real world. We strive for a world with room for diversity and deeper understanding between people. We achieve this, by organizing expert tours to the world's most isolated destinations . That right now includes North Korea, Turkmenistan and Russia. On our tours, all travelers get a deeper understanding of the culture and history of the destination. More importantly, they meet and interact with local people. Locals who will help every participant to get unique authentic experiences and learn about the real world. We are looking for dedicated and independent interns, who are interested in opening the real world with us.

Vainu is building a Sales Intelligence platform that helps salespeople and marketers move forward. Powered by technology to collect, read and understand all company information ever written, Vainu makes these real-time company insights easily consumable directly in its customers' existing business systems. Headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, the company launched in 2013 and is now at €15 million in annual revenue with a team of 150, spread across Europe. MyCoffee.dk er en ny start up fra februar 2020, der tilbyder fem unikke og lækre nespressosmagsvarianter – i fem forskellige intensiteter, så der er noget for enhver smag. Specter Clan

Specter Clan is in business to build a world-class esports team while creating and maintaining our luxury brand Specter Apparel as a fashion provider. We will reach beyond esports by acquiring regular influencers and by designing apparel for the sake of art. We will be creating limited quantity collections multiple times each year. We will have a competitive esports team that will win locally, nationally and internationally. These services and amenities we make available to our clients: - Compete in competitive esports. - Create competitive and entertaining gaming content. - Recruit and train professionals. - Work with agencies for sponsorship deals - Design and launch multiple high-end collections each year. We currently compete professionally in Fortnite & CS:GO with a total of 19 players & content creators with the majority representing in Fortnite.

MakeImpact

The Pitch We help generate positive societal impact by changing people’s financial behavior. The What According to the UNCTAD (UN Conference on Trade and Development) World Investment Report from 2014, the total annual investments in SDG-relevant sectors in developing countries will need to be between $3.3 trillion and $4.5 trillion in order to meet the SDGs by 2030. Such estimates mean there is an annual financing gap of $2.5 trillion between current funding and what is required. The public sector is already doing a lot but to close this large gap, will require a major investment of resources from many actors, particularly from the private sector. The capital is already there. What’s needed is for that capital to find a home in well-designed, viable projects. In order to move this capital, the private sector will need to take financial action. People have the desire to take action but need help to do so. This is where MakeImpact will play an important role – helping people who want to make a difference through impact investing. The How We believe that there are 3 ways to help change people’s financial behavior in order to create a substantial positive societal impact Through Education: The more you know about making a positive impact, the better suited you are to actually do it. Through Investing: In order to help close the SDG financing gap with the use of private capital, investing your money in sustainable companies that work for a better future is the way forward. Through Tracking of Investments: Tracking your investments and becoming aware of which investments are sustainable or not will make you want to learn more about other companies that have a sustainable agenda and thereby re-educating yourself and potentially making more impact investments. In order to achieve the greatest behavioral change, these 3 will all need to be tied together – allowing people, in the best way possible, to change their financial behavior towards a better societal impact The Why We saw a need to help the non-investors getting started on their impact investing journey using the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework. The team currently consists of 17 passionate, innovative and purpose-driven people that help building a solution where the non-investor can use their money to make an impact in the world.

Ladybox

Ladybox was founded in september 2018 and sells a monthly subscription box containing products within selfcare. The Ladybox target women between 25-44 years. In 2020 we have a plan to become more sustainable which means the products in the box needs to be based on natural ingrediens, be eco- or allergy-friendly. We are three founders and are in the process of accelerating our business. Therefore, we need more hands to help us on the way to become a great succes.

We are online and mobile from our own platform, so you can have access to knowledge anytime, anywhere and on any device. That is our mission.

Playmaker

At Playmaker, we're building the meta-entertainment layer of live sports. We've started by building a centralised social platform for players of fantasy sports games, initially focused on Fantasy Premier League. We currently have 10,000+ users and are funded by some of the best early-stage investors in the world.

All of our products are crafted by locals based on traditional recipes that will maximize flavor in the homes of cooks everywhere, whether you’re new to Mexican cuisine or a life-long fan. By working with local farming communities and small-scale producers, Vera Mexicana aims to follow sustainable practices across the entire supply chain – from how suppliers are treated to the farming practices used in Mexico.

Nordic Ice Coffee

At Nordic Ice Coffee it is our mission to launch a serie of new coffee beverages that will change how coffee lovers think about and enjoy their coffee. For now we have successfully launched our first product, Copacabana Iced Coffee, which comes in four different variants. We love our customers, with whom we are closely engaged. It will always be a priority to built a community around our products with the purpose of giving our customers and experience that goes beyond the great taste of our products. Coffee is farmed in some of the poorest regions in the world. As a company we want to take responsibility and help develop the local communities from where we get our high quality coffee beans. We produce our products at our own facilities, which gives is the opportunity to experiment and develop many new different coffee product - learning and playing is a part of our dna.

Molecular Quantum Solutions (MQS)

Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible. Therefore the number of experiments, material, labour and time are saved which translates to reducing R&D costs in a 407 billion $ industry [1,2,3].
