Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible. Therefore the number of experiments, material, labour and time are saved which translates to reducing R&D costs in a 407 billion $ industry [1,2,3]. Problem: The cumbersome booking of the wrong psychologist In Denmark, mental disorders account for 25% of the disease burden and cost society 55 billion DKK annually with more than 2,000 people receiving therapy from a psychologist every day. Further, too many individuals do not receive timely help as they cannot cope with the draining 5-hour process it takes to find and book a psychologist. At the same time, U.S. experience shows that only 20-40% of people find a psychologist they trust and have ´chemistry´ with. This is tragic, as just one bad experience can cause a client to completely drop out of or postpone his/her therapy. The ineffective booking process and the risk of a poor patient-therapist match mean that many people continue to struggle with mental illness who could otherwise be treated. Here, we find the psychologist who can statistically give the best treatment. Clients are presented with a prioritized list of three psychologists along with the reasons for the match. From this list, clients can choose which psychologist they like best, book a session, and pay. The platform continuously facilitates feedback from clients and their psychologists to improve the processing and precision of the matches.

In countries where English isn’t widely used, misunderstanding and stressful scenarios are likely to happen, and the address translator will help minimize that risk.   Michael Johansen had experienced the taxi scam several times from a vacation in Bali, and when he came back to Denmark, where fixed prices are standard, he wanted to dig deeper into the world of haggling when traveling in foreign countries. He decided to address the problem with friend and former colleague, Lea Kilde, who grabbed the idea immediately. After tons of coffee meetings, brainstorming and doodles they came up with the brilliant idea to help future travellers avoid taxi scams.  The two instantly teamed up and the startup Haggelstar was born. Shortly after the digital agency, Jungle Coders joined the company as an early investor to ensure the tech side of the product.
