We are a danish and Nordic based tech company, who’s main goal is to empower people across society to connect and collaborate around the complex challenges we as a society are facing. We do this by taking the best tools from the digital, adding in a Nordic collaborative culture and assuring ethically and fair data – aka: Our platform software THIRDROOM! But tech does not replace humans, so we engage and supplement it by ways of events, live labs and a strong network that connects companies, startups, SME´s, universities with municipalizes and governmental organizations who all share the common goal of wanting to solve real problems for real people. Fx. The SDG´s and other current pressuring issues we as a society are facing. Our team is strong and diverse, we hold more than 13 years of experience into collaboration digital and physical.

Batata

Batata is a B2B agricultural e-commerce software designed for sales optimization and reduction of waste. The farmers are mainly focusing on production cultivation and not on sales optimization. Therefore they have a problem selling excess and damaged commodities that leads to wasted productions and loss of capital. According to Danish Statistics, farmers are wasting 15% to 20% of their output. They have only a few selling options: intermediaries, local markets, grocery chains (bigger farmers). There is no marketplace that connects suppliers (farmers, SME's) with direct buyers (catering industry, grocery chains, manufacturing companies) or non-profit organizations. Our solution provides a real-time private marketplace platform where farmers can expand local and international sales channels. Deal with overproduction and waste by connecting with potential partners (manufacturing, catering companies) or non-profit organizations. With a cloud-based tech-enabled solution Batata will offer a set of analytical and automation tools (KPI's, detailed sales results, sheet generation, order processing, and generation).

Pro-Screens

Pro-Screens strives to optimize multitasking on the laptop. We are providing our costumers with our portable screen: TRIO. Without any need for an electric socket, Pro-Screens makes your office completely portable - bring your laptop and TRIO wherever you go! In order to maximize the working effort on the laptop, TRIO makes it possible to simply switch from one screen to another - just like a foldable monitor. We seek to minimize time waste on the laptop while improving our costumer's general work efficiency.

Tollson has developed a compact, continuous and energy-efficient technology for filtration and dewatering of a wide range of liquids. Tollson offers an mobile filtration plant for sludge and sediments dewatering, enabling wastewater utilities to streamline their dewatering processes. Our cutting-edge filtration technology is also designed for processing of food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and chemicals as well as many other industrial fields. Tollson envisions utilizing its technology to optimize the use of waste streams from industrial companies to support the increasing global demand for food, feed and better use of natural resources.

Muri is a NoLo (No & Low alcohol) drinks company that merges a chef’s palate with science and the natural beauty of fermentation to produce blends that are intriguing, complex and balanced. Changing consumer behaviour around wellness, mental health and moderation have caused a global rise in popularity for No&Low alcoholic drinks, yet the current market is underserved and lacks flavoursome liquids, particularly with regard to wine. Muri responds with exceptional quality and luxury products that rival the best of the alcoholic drinks market. The team behind Muri comes from some of the most innovative food and drinks companies in the industry, such as restaurant Noma and Empirical Spirits. We are made up of industry-experienced professionals with an obsession for flavour.

Lookout is a corporate start-up bringing modern technology to the classic neighborhood watch community. Lookout aims to become the data-driven "facebook group" for home and house owners within safety and security We are powered by the largest private security company in Europe, Verisure, and operate in arms-length from the regular business. We are piloting in Denmark but have global scope.

AlmaKnit ApS

We pave the way for a completely new process in knitting as a hobby. Our unique technology puts the knitters under the spotlight and guides them to make their own unique design. We ensure a precision-calculated and customized knitting pattern. The core of our technology lies in the mathematical modelling of the design components together with the relevant body measurements. The parts work together as dynamic lego bricks. A sweater consists of collar, shoulders, sleeves and lots of details. Our algorithm ensures compatibility and customization and thereby a perfect end product and that is unique in the world market.

Large companies invest considerable resources in creating internal communication (intranet, newsletters, talks, training) to inform and educate their employees and build their culture. But employees are already exhausted by how much email and communications they receive and often they don’t have time to stay in the loop with the company beat. Especially growth companies which onboard up to 100 employees in a year will have a difficult time maintaining their original culture and need to invest significant time and money in ensuring the employees share the company values. Even for existing employees, tacit knowledge is only shared in small groups and when requested, but fails to be communicated across the entire organisation. The solution to this problem is using audio as a new medium for communication, culture development and knowledge sharing. Our solution allows communication teams and any employee to record, edit and publish audio content without needing prior training. The content is published in a private internal podcast platform, where employees can feel safe to discuss their work and where the company can reinforce their values and maintain a healthy culture.

Green Pleasure bridge the connection between European farmers and consumers on the most vital food product: Fresh Produce. Our goal is to take the consumption of fresh produce to a even higher level, by raising the quality Barr. At the same time we save the environment from a huge carbon emission, by bringing fresh produce "from the land to the table", without any detour from retail stocks, ripening rooms or other cooling facilities. We carefully select all our suppliers and only maintain a dialog if the production is sustainable or organic. We are aiming at constantly adding new competences to our staff, in order to maintain a leading position in the industry. The human concern and care towards the environment also include our stakeholders such as our staff, suppliers and partners. Our highly experienced staff make sure our produce are harvested when the taste, juice content and shelf life are optimum - which gives us a competitive advantage - and at the same time create a higher demand for fresh produce. ARETE ApS

1: Short description ARETE is developing a matchmaking platform for CS:GO to help hardcore gamers become better players with a role-based rating- and division-system. 2: The What: What are we solving We severely lack player agency in Counter-Strike. For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts. I have dedicated years of my life into defining the roles and coming up with a system that will make solo matchmaking feel like team practice, and I have already found some amazing people to help me make it happen - will you join us in our journey to making matchmaking better?
