Project Iceman is an ambitious project that sets out to prove that #limitationsareonlyperceptions by setting up the first ever, World Record breaking Ironman distance triathlon in Antarctica, the Iceman. The Iceman is the first in a series of events that will put focus on mental health. The project was officially initiated in June 2018 and is the first step of establishing The Iceman Foundation, an organization that will establish and promote 'Mental Empowerment' for all.
We’re a tightly knitted group of people with a clear philosophy of life: Limitations are only perceptions. This is evident in everything we do and how we work. That means we go with what we find interesting and valuable to our cause. If it’s cool, fun, and worthwhile, we spend time testing and potentially going with it. We believe we can do whatever we set our minds to, which is why we’re always up for trying out an idea - no matter how ‘crazy’ it is.In practice this is carried out in close collaboration with one another. Everyone who wants to contribute are inviter to take part, but we each take responsibility of the things we find most interesting. It’s a wealth of freedom but it also requires courage, discipline, and a positive attitude.We’re a sporty group and like to stay active. Whether you’re into bikini, running, swimming, fitness, football, badminton, squash, paddle tennis, or any other sport, we’re happy to go and have fun with it together. This doesn’t exclude us from having the celebratory beer once in a while when we achieve some of our milestones - even though many think completing an Ironman requires a 100% clean diet and full focus on training (which is not necessarily the case, we eat homemade pizza and watch movies every Sunday everning!). We’re open, free, happy and positive. We encourage creativity and allow ourselves to do what we find most interesting.
