Tada Medical is a medical device company creating innovative need-based solutions for the healthcare sector.The team consist of Katarina Hedbeck (CEO), Rebecca Bejhed (CTO) and Christopher Blacker (Medical Advisor).Our multidisciplinary team is currently working on solving the problem of patient injuries caused by dislodged infusion tubes. Our fail-safe connector solves the problem and will reduce hospital costs. We aim at making tube protection equally common as needle stick protection.
The company was founded in 2016 by a multidisciplinary team with backgrounds and work experience from technology, medicine, management and design. We have a flat organisational structure with rapid decision paths which is beneficial to the daily operations. Our activities are focused at solving need-based problems in the healthcare sector.The team first met when participating in the project Clinical Innovation Fellowships at the paediatric oncology centre at Uppsala University hospital. Using our complementary strengths and education in need-based innovations we can create solutions and products tailormade for the healthcare sector. We care about our colleagues, mutual respect is highly valued, our key words are sustainable development and patient focus.
