Founded in Helsinki in 2012 by the guys behind “Saari” and “Fungi”, Pikkukala is a digital entertainment studio. We develop original characters and stories and transform them into games, animation, books and other media. To do it, we use a wide range of creative tools and techniques from paper and pencil to computer vision. Come and meet our new animated comedy series “Royals Next Door”! Our international team aims to create global content for the whole family. We have released five apps for kids and a stop motion short film “A long story short”, and we have successfully partnered with companies and talent in America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, we provided production and consultancy services to companies like Rovio (Angry Birds Toons), Anima Vitae (Moominvalley) or Intervisio.
