Lolo is the network, reinvented for IoT and cloud. We offer a global, programmable network edge that aggregates Connectivity Service Providers (CSP), WiFi, Fixed Line and Corporate networks and makes every device, event or configuration on the network API driven. Low (low) code microservices can be easily built around the network using a visual builder and deployed at the edge.
What:
Our primary driver right now is eSIM adoption. Enterprises and CSPs are adopting eSIM at an increasing rapid pace. Whilst eSIM allows the CSP providing the connectivity to be changed over the air and unleashing a wave of new applications and use case - the data plane / traffic is then moved across multiple CSPs. Lolo unifies the data plane and allows users to build low code microservices that have fine grained control of every aspect of the network. Without solving this problem, eSIM adoption will stall and is a clear need in the market.
For Lolo, from first demo to quotation has been on average 3 months and as little as one day. The need is pressing and real. About half of our customers and prospects have a turnover of greater than $1b. Currently we're pacing how many customers we engage with due to our bandwidth.
How:
The Lolo team have built a Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) platform and a IP Virtual Routing platform. The FaaS similar to AWS Lambda and Kinesis built for extreme scale, low code developer productivity along with one-click deploy to any cloud or on premise and then it has connected to the IP Virtual Routing which we deployed into a global Content Delivery Network (CDN) partner.
Why:
The team built up the tech stacks for 2 global IoT connectivity providers and the SaaS stack for a global software provider. We've connected and provided services to many of the largest brands on the planet. We kept seeing the same problems over and over with CSPs being extremely inflexible around IP and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP not being robust and cost effective enough to attach into the core of a network. We've been working around these problems for a decade. With Lolo, we solve them. We are extremely well connected and know all of our first customers at a C level so not only did we see a major problem we could solve - we could also take it to market.
