Jun Grooming is a Copenhagen based startup manufacturing handmade, premium men's cosmetics products. The carefully curated beard oils and balms are made only from EU sourced certified organic ingredients, and contain no unnatural chemicals and preservatives. The founder, Kendzsi Tanaka used his personal experience and research in natural skincare to develop these products, after living all his life with a condition of sensitive, dry and irritable skin.
After successfully building the initial inventory, developing and launching the webshop and relevant social media profiles, the company has run into a problem of reaching and growing its first customer base. The sales launch in January showed good results with online sales for private costumers, but the first excitement slowly died down. Currently, Jun Grooming is looking for partnerships, advice, and funding for developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, aiming for the fundamental product flow.
The Jun Grooming Instagram page currently has 1k+ followers after only a single year of running, which is very competent in its sector. Also, the business-to-business channel is showing good development, with products available in two local barbershops, only 4 months after the initial sales launch in January 2020. Through these mediums, Jun Grooming is experiencing steady growth, but unfortunately not quite enough to let the business run itself.
