The product team at Brella incorporates design, front-end, and back-end engineering, quality assurance, and project management. Our team is based in Helsinki HQ and also in Jyväskylä. The design team is working from Helsinki HQ. There is also a possibility for a remote role in Finland.

Design a world-class product from brainstorming solutions to fine-tuning those pixels.
Work on OKRs (Objective - Key Results) assigned to you and make sure that the OKR team (designer, developer, and product manager) are in sync with your work.
Building a design system and design processes with the team as we scale.
Conceptualize the original idea by simplifying the complex content with user-centered logic.
Working on visual designs to make sure Brella aligns with its coherent brand vision across teams such as product and marketing.
Helping shape the design culture at Brella.
3+ years of hands-on experience in designing software applications across platforms Web, Android, and iOS
A user advocate who has strong visual design skills to create a state-of-the-art UIs
Comfort/ passion for working through complex information architectures and abstracting into a powerful UI and obsessed with good user-centered design practices and have an eye for detail
A clear sense of how to articulate necessitated design fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, and usability to improve both form and function of given assignments
Knows when to reinvent the wheel to solve complex scenarios and when to stick with common patterns.
Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, prototyping tools.
Knowledge of lean product development.
Someone who understands that humans can be biased and can constructively work to go past that
Generalist attitude and good team skills
Excellent English skills are a must, as it is our internal working language.
Icon and illustration work.
Strong animation and video editing skills
Experience creating and maintaining design libraries
Experience thinking about or designing for accessibility using WCAG 2.0 or 2.1
