What we're looking for

A software developer with JavaScript experience, eager to work for a startup. We work in the field between what the user needs, what is technically possible and what the business requires. In that order. Over time you should be able to look at any given problem we face from at least those three lenses. You have a growth mindset. Perhaps you're planning to become an entrepreneur yourself in the future and wants to learn from experience in a way that higher education can't quite provide.

Qualifications

• Student in software engineering, computer science or similar

• 15 hours/week spread over three days

• Experience with JavaScript technologies

• Plus if you have experience with NoSQL

• Plus if you have experience in Vue.js and Firebase

• Basic understanding of Git

• Basic understanding of Scrum

• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Work in a Scrum team with all that entails.

  • Participate in sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective

  • Work on user stories

  • Give technical feedback on requirements collected in product backlog

• Code reviews of your colleagues work

• Integration to and maintenance of the codebase

• Sparring with design lead over the direction of the software
