The Position

We are looking for experienced mid-level or senior backend developers to maintain and develop the current generation backend of our coinmotion.com service built with PHP, MySQL and Nginx on Linux.

The job will also involve integration with and migration to our next generation backend currently being built with Golang, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes on GCP. These skills are not necessary, but could be helpful. There will also be a possibility later to transfer to the next-gen team.

You should also have some experience with DevOps, preferably with GCP and Gitlab. Experience with or inclination towards information security is also highly valued.

Working fluency in written and spoken English is expected. Experience with or good understanding of frontend development would also be useful.

We are open to and encourage remote work, but we do expect employees to be able to join us at some of our offices (Jyväskylä, Tampere, Helsinki) for team meetings, workshops and social gatherings now and then.
