LEGO Ventures is a part of KIRKBI and LEGO Brand Group and an engaged partner in the Corporate Venture space. In this position you will have a vital role, working together with a creative, interdisciplinary team to further build out the Incubation Studio, which is our launchpad for exploring new systems-in-play. You will be anchored in the Incubation Studio core team in Billund, Denmark, and lead the operational side of the studio.
Your responsibilities include:
Maintain and refine processes, frameworks and tools for the incubation funnel
Portfolio management of the incubation pipeline
Organize and execute ideation sessions and innovation programs
Budget and reporting
Tracking of operating metrics
Ensure key learnings and insights are captured during the validation stage
Support the workflow and project management of the studio team
Day to day operations of the incubation studio
Do you have what it takes to succeed?
We are looking for a strong communicator with the ability and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams. You are empathic and a self-starter and you are comfortable working with little direction or oversight – thus, the ability to prioritize your own workload and make sure deadlines are met is one of your key characteristics.
Moreover, we imagine that you have:
3-5 years of proven experience working with project- and/or portfolio management
Hands-on experience with tools such as Miro, Notion, Monday.com is an advantage
Experience organizing and running workshops (virtual and physical)
Good understanding of the nature of early-stage concepting and early-stage startups – ideally experience from a venture studio
Strong collaborator and partnership building skills
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to creatively think of solutions
