You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of WakeupData’s marketing and advertising initiatives. You should be a PPC and ecommerce expert, using in-depth knowledge to inspire your colleagues and educate our partners. Thinking outside the box should be in your DNA!

Description

As Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of WakeupData’s marketing and advertising initiatives with the ambition to become our Chief Marketing Officer. Your experience within Paid Media and ecommerce will come in handy when inspiring our clients (digital marketing agencies, ecommerce managers, paid media specialists) via case studies, webinars and other content.

You should be an audience expert, using in-depth knowledge to propose and implement marketing experiments and improve existing nurture programs.

Team Description

Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help WakeupData grow. 

We work closely with all verticals across the company, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

As a senior-level marketing professional, you must be both analytical and creative. Your tasks will be:

• Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives

• Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation, roll-up your sleeves and execute the plan

• Responsible for demand- and lead generation and nurturing our valued leads to help deliver hyper-growth  

• “Listen” to the trends of the market and educate our clients on the latest PPC and ecommerce trends

• Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands

• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.) with the most efficient market messages and the optimal marketing material

• Define and understand lead generation target audience segments for B2B

• Develop a highly efficient team of marketing professionals

• Create a solid network of strategic partnerships

Requirements 

• Education in Marketing and Communications or a relevant field.

• Proven experience of (3-5 years) as Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Paid Media Specialist, Ecommerce Manager or similar role

• Expert in PPC across all channels, experience working with marketing automation, marketing analytics, SEO, CRO etc.

• Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)

• Solid understanding of all necessary digital acquisition channels to generate leads.

• Able to drive growth in all activities, systems and frameworks to connect the dots between marketing, product and revenue touchpoints and have a creative mindset for growth hacking.

• Understanding of Inbound Methodologies and inbound CRM such as Hubspot and user.com. 

• A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities

• Fluency in English and Danish

• Outstanding sense of humour, we love to laugh in this company

• Experience within the SaaS/Software industry and lead-driven marketing will be a plus.

• Prior knowledge of data feed management will be an extra plus.
