Our product team is looking for a talented product strategist to partner closely with our outstanding engineers on what matters the most to our company: the user experience. You will have the opportunity to span across the entire process, from shaping our long-term strategy, our brand voice (also on print), onboarding – to deciding what our engineers and designers are working on next week.

It’s open for interpretation, and we need your help entering two new markets in 2021. To be quite frank; right now is probably the best time to join, as you get the chance to shape your job and focus on what you do best.

What we do

We like to think of it this way; we help landlords and tenants become best friends by freeing up time for the landlord, so they can focus on what is good for both business and tenants. You probably guessed it by now: it is a better renting experience. And landlords want that, but the problem is that they have their hands full of redundant, time-consuming tasks. We automate those tasks, removing human errors and bureaucracy in the process, and putting that human connection back into the equation.

Proper is more than efficient property management. Proper is a seal of quality, safety and reliability. Our service is a lean and automated process for landlords and tenants – providing transparency and trust in the rental market. We scaled more than 30% MOM for 18 months and received our Seed round early 2020. Now we’re preparing for our Series A to reach multiple countries and +100K tenancies!

You will

• Be part of our core product team and work closely with engineers, product designers, customer success and commercial

• You will take part in shaping the long-term strategy and executing our short-term tactics

• Be the Product Owner for our Scrum-team

• Figure out what the team works on next

• Sometimes work on very fluffy and broadly defined, loose concepts, and other times on narrowly defined deliverables

• Focus on what you do best – whether that’s sketches, wireframes, prototypes, designs, or code. You’ll have the opportunity to sharpen the skills you’re looking to develop

• Gather feedback and insights

  
  

You may be a fit if you are

• Able to reduce complex problems and legislation to something anyone can  understand

• Experienced in designing and shaping complex products for B2B

• Skilled in explaining and writing specifications – preferably in the spirit of  jobs-to-be-done

• Used to work cross-functionally

• An expert in either interaction design or visual design, but are skilled across all product disciplines so you can unblock yourself

• A product person with 5+ years of design experience at a product-driven tech company

• Equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset – be comfortable with assuming ownership
