We are seeking an ambitious, creative and well-organized graphic designer with a passion for branding to join our global startup, NewGlue, in Stockholm, Sweden. During the first 3-6 months, the role is an internship - but we are hoping to turn it into a full-time role in summer 2021.

NewGlue is a virtual branding agency that, through a technical solution and creative tools, allows small businesses to afford high-quality and professional logos and branding.

You need to be already living in Stockholm, Sweden and have permission to work in Sweden. Unfortunately we can not consider applicants from outside of Stockholm.

You will work with our experienced team of design, business, technology and branding experts. You will experience working in a fast-paced, energetic environment where your work reaches real customers from all over the world. Working with senior members of the team, you will quickly learn about not only logo design, but also what it takes to grow an online business according to the needs of NewGlue’s customers (working with both designers and clients).

Responsibilities and tasks

• Manage NewGlue's logo service

  • Approve/decline uploaded logo icons from designers all over the world

  • Review logos and give feedback to designers

  • Review applications from new designers that wants to join NG

  • Answer questions from designers

  • Reach out to top logo designers on Dribbble and Behance to get them to join NG

  • Ensure our logo library remains high-quality by making smaller changes to logos if needed

• Learn how to create web design in SquareSpace for real clients all over the world

• Create custom work for customers e.g. custom website design (you will learn Squarespace if you don't already know it). Custom projects earns you 25% commission. For example; customer pays invoice 100k SEK, you will earn 25k SEK.

   

Experience Required

• Great knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

• Excellent sense of design, color, type and layout

• Passionate about branding and logo design

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Organised and high level of attention to detail

• Flexible and able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

• Show examples of digital design and/or graphic design work you’ve completed yourself (interactive display, print media, logos & branding etc.).
