We are expanding our engineering team and is looking for a talented engineering manager to take on and provide technical leadership to major initiatives, but also manage a team of engineers. As an engineering manager, you contribute to the overall product strategy and help develop your team.

As a Engineering Manager, your mission will be to

• Manage a team of engineers to develop and support our product.

• Ensure fitting product-team compositions and lead recruitment of new engineers.

• Develop team members’ skills, promote career development and provide technical leadership and guidance to one or more groups of engineers.

• Influence and establish best engineering practices through solid design decisions, processes and tools.

• Ensure a productive environment for your team of engineers allowing them to grow and produce meaningful work aligned with business objectives.

• Work closely with product management team to ensure we're building the best products.

• Join and lead discussions around different platform initiatives.

• Take occasional charge in troubleshooting and maintaining high quality and low bug count in our core products.

  
  

About you:

Ideally, you

• Are an Engineer at heart (please, see https://www.notion.so/lenus/Engineers-at-heart-6232f941df4b4b26828c4ca578abb83f)

• Have 3 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.

• Hands-on programming experience in a modern javascript setting such as Node.js, React, or similar.

• Have solid written and verbal communication, are able to clearly articulate technically complex problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Are a true believer and a practitioner of automated testing at all levels.
