What is Circular Innovation Lab?

We are a think-tank based out of Copenhagen. We work with global innovators, governments and international organisations to accelerate the global transition towards a circular economy. 

Innovation is the key to moving away from our current linear to a circular economic model of growth. Hence, we are on a mission to foster circular economy innovations.

As part of this mission, we are launching a new initiative called ShopC- the world’s first digital marketplace to buy and sell circular products.

Tasks:

As a full-stack developer, you will work in collaboration with our product team led by our founder. Our product is an e-commerce SaaS product coded in PHP with both a web platform and an app. The work will be divided into 3 main tasks

- Coding: new features and maintenance of the existing system and architecture based on user insights

-  Designing: Improving the UI-UX with new features and extending existing ones.

- Working closely together with management to bring both our users and customers a great experience    

Professional qualifications we are looking for:

• a degree in software engineering and if no degree then shows us your work in web development

• Understanding of PHP 

• Experience and knowledge in HTML, CSS (& CSS preprocessors LESS), JavaScript (our software uses jQuery), Smarty 

• Database technologies like MySQL and Cpanel

• Past experience of handling e-commerce websites would be an asset but not a necessity.
