Did you swim through higher education like a salmon swimming downstream the river? Didn't think so. Studies are hard and we have all some kind of relation to it. This frustration that most students have had at some point in their life is what made us establish Snapmentor. We want to get rid of the frustration and boredom of attending university and rather make it exciting and an experience where the curiosity put you on top of a surf board where you simply ride and enjoy the wave, safely get all the way to the shore and land your dream job!

About Snapmentor

Snapmentor is on a mission to spark students' curiosity. We have so much to do and we have just gotten started on our journey. We already have traction with top universities such as NTNU, NHH and BI using our product, but we need more curious people on our team so that we can make sure every student in the world can leverage the Snapmentor learning experience.

About the role

You will start as our first designer and will grow both a team of dedicated designers, but also incorporate design as a first principle in how Snapmentor does product development. 

About you:

• Several years of experience within relevant areas of design, most preferably digital product design, interaction design or service design

• A natural curiosity and love of learning new things

• You demonstrate genuine craftsmanship and love for design

• You love to design for the real world, not only for beautiful portfolios

• Prefer working in a high paced iterative environment

• Passion for cross functional agile teamwork and lifting as you climb

• Have built several successful/unsuccessful products in the past
