Join us as ‘Head of Logistics’ and help us disrupt an entire industry! In this senior position you will be responsible for dispatch of all containers and rapidly scale our trucking logistics network, ensuring a smooth and professional container delivery experience for all of our customers, and report directly to the COO.

Your Mission:

• Overall responsibility for all container deliveries across North America

• Own, manage, and grow the entire network of trucking partners

• Implement an optimal dispatch process, matching container bookings with deliveries

• Successfully plan, schedule, dispatch, and monitor drivers and routes

• Mobilize your existing network of trucking providers across tilt-bed / flat-bed / and other specialized delivery segments

• Define and negotiate standard contract terms

• Continuously work to digitize and automate all logistics processes

• Ensure all bookings are planned well in advance and communicated clearly to all relevant parties

• Verify that all trucking deliveries are executed in line with our high quality standards, and take corrective action if necessary

• Work closely with product and sales teams to help build technical solutions, addressing the needs of all stakeholders

• Negotiate road transport agreements to reposition equipment

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of trucking dispatch / brokering experience

• Demonstrated track record of working with tilt-bed container deliveries required

• Existing relationships and network in container trucking industry

• Experience in negotiating trucking terms and conditions

• Familiarity with selling trucking services is a plus

• Strategic vision, great execution skills, and you ‘don’t take no for an answer’ when necessary

• Digital mindset and understanding of how the industry can be improved with technology

• Hands-on attitude and courage to challenge the status quo

• Great team player who helps out when needed

• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at once

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Motivation to join a startup and love for building a business from scratch, with ability to see how a product and strategy can evolve
