Pointvoucher is looking for a COO & Co-founder that can help operate the company and take care of finance-related tasks until we hire a CFO. You will be in charge of operations, oversee that the strategy is executed, that we reach our goals and the day to day finance. You will join an international and partly remote team of 25 people across Denmark, UK, Russia and work in an inspirational and fast-moving environment with visionary people.

About this role

• 60% operations, 30% finance and 10% HR. The finance part is a requirement.

• The role will be based at our Copenhagen HQ.

You will 

• Join the management and co-founder team

• Operations

  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures

  • Ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative tools, and reporting

  • Procedures to meet operational and financial targets

  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Marketing, Business Development, Product etc.)

  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

  • Be responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives

  • Drive the process of updating existing and making new contracts

  • Manage relationships with bigger partners/vendors

  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)

  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision

  • Submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance

• Finance

  • Manage day to day finance, 

  • Account control, 

  • Priorities and pay bills, salaries, and manage invoicing

  • Manage bookkeeper

  • Update budgets and the monthly P&L

  • Make applications for government grants, loans etc.

  • Stay updated on new finance opportunities in DK and EU

  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures

• HR

  • Create and manage job descriptions, applicants etc.

  • Onboard and offboard new employees, interns, consultants etc.

  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Make “hiring/firing” recommendations. 

You have 

• Proven experience as COO, CFO, or another relevant background from a startup

• Hands-on experience with finance and controlling  

• Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills

• Experience from working in an international business environment

• Understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, tech, analytics etc.

• Strong analytical and finance skills

• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure

• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is an advantage

• Experience with gaming and/or entertainment is an advantage

• Experience in fundraising and knowledge about the investor landscape is an advantage

• Experience with B2C subscription-based businesses such as telcos, streaming, membership websites etc. is an advantage.
