We are looking for an ambitious CTO & Co-Founder for our tech start-up! Are you interested in developing a platform that makes selling secondhand items online easier, while on the same time joining a journey of building a company from the ground up? Then read further.

About the startup:

Secondly is an online marketplace that facilitates purchases of secondhand and upcycle from professional secondhand retailers to consumers. Secondly’s solution is an app built with the user experience in mind and the purpose to inspire within fashion and sustainable consumption. Secondly is solely targeting dedicated sellers of recycle & upcycle of high quality, who either sell professionally or as a part-time hobby. The app makes it easy and time-efficient for sellers to handle their online sales efforts and saves consumers of both time and effort in finding high-quality recycled goods.

We have a clear goal to improve and innovate the customer experience of buying secondhand and have outlined several functionalities and services that we are planning to introduce on the market in 2021. The first version of Secondly has just been launched on the market, which means that we are now receiving the initial traction and vital feedback. This also means that we now are looking for a technical co-founder for our team, who want to be a part of the journey in building the future platform of quality secondhand!

Who are we searching for?

We are looking for a developer who will help shape the future of the Secondly app and ensure a brilliant user experience for our users. We have already built the MVP, which is now available in App Store & Google Play. Hence, the future task will be to build future versions including necessary improvements and new functions. Maybe you have a sense for sleek design and if so it's a major plus, but nevertheless it is not required. You have experience with some or all of these technologies: React Native or similar frameworks, JavaScript, Node.js + Express, MySQL + Sequelize, Firebase, Stripe. However, it could also be possible for you to build the app from scratch in programmes that you are more familiar with. Also, it is a huge advantage if you have experience with working in Wordpress.

Salary and equity is to be negotiated based on your skills.
