We are looking for a senior cloud DevOps engineer for the Valohai MLOps platform. Ideally, you are someone who has already had extensive experience in setting up and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure – even better if you’ve done it on multiple different cloud platforms as Valohai supports them all. If you understand and feel for machine learning on top of everything, we might already love you.

Our development team is responsible for the whole Valohai platform, tools, and services such as user interfaces, web applications, APIs, command-line client, and scaling infrastructure. We develop user-friendly and modern solutions for our data science users and corporate customers as well as for our internal use.

Our working environment is ambitious and motivated but still fun and relaxed. We always support each other, and help is always available on all levels, from the developer colleague next to you to our product lead and up to our CEO.

Your role:

• Creating and maintaining toolset and instructions for the on-premise or private cloud installations of the Valohai platform.

• Developing Valohai platform backend.

• As a bonus, you get the experience of working close to the state-of-the-art machine learning projects built by our customers.

Desirable experience:

• Deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure and security. Valohai utilizes all the different cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure/OpenStack).

• Experience with Linux tooling (ssh/systemd/journalctl).

• Enough programming skills to develop features for the Valohai backend (Python/Django).

• Bonus points for any ML related experience.
