We are looking for a senior software developer for the Valohai MLOps platform. Ideally, you are someone who has already had your share of full-stack development experience from Linux servers to front-end development, and you possess the mindset of a senior developer. You should have a passion for back-end development and a desire to make the front-end shine. If you understand and feel for machine learning on top of everything, we might already love you.

Our development team is responsible for the whole Valohai platform, tools, and services such as user interfaces, web applications, APIs, command-line client, and scaling infrastructure. We develop user-friendly and modern solutions for our data science users and corporate customers as well as for our internal use.

Our working environment is ambitious and motivated but still fun and relaxed. We always support each other, and help is always available on all levels, from the developer colleague next to you to our product lead and up to our CEO.

Your role:

• Development and maintenance of internal and external tools as a part of the Valohai development team consisting of other senior developers.

• The development team uses informal one-week sprints; Each developer has a lot of freedom in choosing tasks.

• As a bonus, the developer can dive into machine learning projects; we create and maintain various deep learning examples for the Valohai platform.

Desirable experience:

• Full-stack developer with a knowledge of everything from Linux servers to front-end development. We have had a good experience with developers coming from other backgrounds like game development, too. The key is the mindset of a senior developer. Already experienced, yet willing to learn fast.

• Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS and JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Back-end development skills (Python, Django).

• Experience with Linux tooling (ssh, systemd, journalctl) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a big plus.

• Bonus points for any ML related experience.
