WHO WE ARE

The Considerate Consumer is a non-profit start-up. We build a digital manual for sustainable living, that aims to enable interested Europeans an easy start into living more sustainably. How? We provide the reader with practical solutions and connect them to the experts of the sustainability field. 

WHAT WE OFFER

Flexible working hours, flexible working place, you gain insight into the operations of a social start-up, high responsibility, independent working, an international team of dedicated volunteers and the opportunity to develop, design and implement your ideas. Experience, experience, experience - min. 6h pr. week for at least 6 month.

WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are a start-up growing very fast, so fast that we are simply too busy to find time for searching and applying for funds. We therefore need an experienced fundraiser or at least a super dedicated person eager to become a pro fundraiser.

You know how and where to look for funding and have experience in writing applications and successfully get applications approved. You lack the experience, but you want to become an expert in the field? Let us know and take this journey together!

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE

• You'll develop fundraising activity plans that maximize participation or contributions and minimize costs.

• You'll develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions.

• You'll identify and build relationships with potential donors.

• You'll compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.

• You'll recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.

• You'll secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.

•  You'll develop or implement fundraising activities, such as annual giving campaigns or direct mail programs.

• You'll work together with our fun and highly motivated and engaged team.

   

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING IN

Curiosity is your second name, organisation your superpower, thinking out of the box your destiny and finding practical and hands-on solutions your passion.

• You are an organizational talent and love to pull the strings.

• You are curious, eager for new and unconventional solutions.

• You are thrilled to accomplish unforeseen tasks on unknown terrain.

• You have advanced knowledge in English and you can easily write English texts. 

• You are a student or graduate in the field of business or similar.

• You are not shying away from asking questions, you are a conceptual, unconventional and critical thinker, you are structured and able to work independently. 

• Otherwise, you are motivated, determined, direct, eloquent, creative, spontaneous, open-minded, positive and persistent.

• You have a laptop that you can work with.

• You have an interest in sustainability and are passionate about finding solutions for a more sustainable world
