Job description

As an intern at WasteHero, you will be able to challenge yourself with cutting edge technologies. You will be able to contribute to our mission of a greener, cleaner and smarter waste collection worldwide, while learning valuable skills! 

• Develop new features to solve real-life customer problems

• Produce visual elements to our software application

• Collaborate with designers, closing the gap between graphical design and technical implementation

• Work with product managers and engineers

• Investigate existing UI/UX and improve future features    

• Improve and scale our platform as we continue to grow our business

• Set your mark on products and new launches - your projects are your responsibility

Responsibilities

• Get responsibility for developing new features from scratch to functional tools for our users

• Work in collaboration with experienced developers, designers and managers.

• Gain hands-on experience with modern data processing practices

• Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow and get more responsibility

Requirements

• Experience with working with technical and non-technical people

• Fluent in; JavaScript, CSS and HTML

• Experienced with; ReactJS, GraphQL, Material-UI (or capable of acquiring skills quickly)

• Experience with responsive design and follow the recent web trends

• Feel comfortable with: Bitbucket, Jira and Git

• You’re excited about designing intuitive front-end experiences

What you need to know

The internship starts in February 2021 and is unpaid and full-time. The internship runs for up to six months depending on your requirements, with the possibility for employment at the end of the program. Interviews will be conducted in an ongoing manner throughout the recruitment process.

Our office will be moving from Navitas to a location within Aarhus Centrum as of 1 February 2021.
