Background

Startup Norway creates programs for investors, startups and corporates in partnership with Innovation Norway and some of the largest corporates, to help boost innovation in the country. We also have a coworking space, Startup Campus where we provide facilities, such as work space, event space and video streaming. We create events for the ecosystem throughout the whole year, including Startup Extreme, which is one of the largest events in the Nordic ecosystem. 

We are also building an e-commerce platform for startup services to more efficiently market and sell the services we provide to the community and to help enable our transition to becoming a more digital company.

We are now looking for a junior level designer to join the team who will very much be a part of building the visual future of the company and will be involved in everything from working on the brand profile, helping with graphics for the communication and marketing team, through to helping to design the user experience of the new digital platform we are building.

Responsibilities

• Help to define the use of the visual brand profile across the company.

• Assist the communications team by creating graphics for social media and other marketing channel communications.

• Help to design the UX of the digital platform from wireframes through to high fidelity mockups.

• Helping with ad-hoc design tasks as and when required. 

Requirements

• Design-focused undergraduate degree or equivalent background in design.

• Some experience with the UX design of digital products and a portfolio that represents this.

• Passion for innovation and a strong desire to create a career in the startup ecosystem.
