Are you a talented multitasker, with good operational skills and a passion for working with a fast-growing global community? As Junction's Head of Global Operations, you’ll be responsible for managing our (global) community and online events! This includes various tasks, but the key thing is to make sure that our online community and global operations thrive.

Your responsibilities

• “Hackathons as a Service” projects

• JunctionX Community management (JunctionX = our international Junction teams around the world)

• Communication with other hackathon communities

• Virtual event platform setup, monitoring, administration and data integration & analysis with Junction App

• Stream studio production coordinating with production partner and stream-studio lead

• Event application process coordinating with Head of Participants

The perfect candidate

Here’s what we require from you and your know-how:

• You’ll be working closely with our Head of Operations, and therefore good teamwork skills are essential

• Previous project management and leadership experience (doesn't need to be on a significantly large scale but at least to some degree)

• You are coordinating things in very many different fronts and get to plan your job very freely, so being able to multitask and good self-management skills are required

• You get motivated when reaching your goals

• You can handle stress well and finish your tasks in tight time frames

• You have strong communication skills

• You have a basic knowledge of Google Workspace tools

• You are fluent in English, good Finnish skills are an advantage

Other details

This role is perfect for a student or for someone who has just hopped into the work life. We usually work at our Kamppi office and working remotely is naturally allowed.
